MSM goes Multi-Platform!

Blackberry, iPhone, Windows Mobile and Nokia

In December, we are shipping the first multi-platform version of MSM. This Release allows organizations with Blackberry and ActivSync devices to manage all users and devices from a single web-based console.

With the Multi-Platform version of MSM, system administrators will be able to see and manage Blackberry devices and handlhelds that use Activesync such as Windows Mobile, iPhone and some Nokia devices in exactly the same way and from the same set of screens. No longer will you need separate management tools for each device type or mobile software infrastructure.

In addition to managing their global Blackberry population, System Administrators with Windows Mobile, iPhone and Nokia devices will be able to:

• Activate and deactivate users and devices
• Assign IT policies to devices
• View and manage users wherever they are located
• Perform remote administration such as wiping a device and resetting passwords
• View device information such as type, model and Operating system
